He was born November 19, 1945 in Benton Harbor, Mich., the son of Ralph and Wilma (Reynolds) Abernathy.He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, playing guitar, speed boating and bowling.Funeral services were held Friday, November 12, 2010 a Pray Funeral Home in Charlotte with Pastor Mark Bender officiating. He was a 1933 graduate of White Pigeon High School. Together they had two children Cheryl Huff, Detroit, and Daryl (Sue) Abbott, Middlebury, IN, who survive.Two siblings, Lelna Miller and Lowell Abbott preceded him in death.
